『犬が地面を掻く理由は様々で、寝転がろうとしている地面を平らにしようとする本能的なもの、ストレスや楽しいから。我が家の犬は散歩後に昼寝をするのですが、マットのようなものの上ではこのような行為はせず、タイル張りなど滑りやすい床で昼寝をする前にする傾向にあります。健康な愛犬ですのでストレスで精神的に不安定といったことはありません。』

"There are various reasons why a dog might scratch at the ground. An instinctual effort to level the ground it is about to lay on, Stress, For fun. My dogs take a nap after going on a walk. They don’t do it when they lie on something like a mat, but they do it before taking a nap on a tiled or other slippery floor. Please don’t say that my healthy dogs have mental instability from stress without having all the information."
